Intro to Lindy Hop B
Welcome to Lindy Hop B, a 4-week introductory course! Come learn to swing dance with us. We’ll show you basic Lindy Hop moves and rhythms and get you social dancing in 4 weeks. Lindy Hop B focuses on 8-count rhythms and moves like the Swingout and Lindy circle along with fundamental Lindy Hop technique and style. No partner or experience required. Swing Dance
Jumptown welcomes social dancers to this weekly event at The Brink, Madison's home for Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa! The Brink Lounge has a selection of tap and bottled beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as soda, lemonade, and other non-alcoholic beverages. Food is served until 10pm. The Brink Lounge is located about four blocks from the Capitol Square and within walking distance from campus. The event is 18+ friendly. $5 donation is suggested, payable by cash or card. At Jumptown events, masking will be optional by default. However, if the CDC Covid-19 Community Level for Dane County is "High" on the event date, then masks will be required. Proof of vaccination will be required to dance.
