DESCRIPTION:Ever wanted to learn the basics of Balboa? Now’s your chance to learn it from two fantastic guest instructors\, Dylan Devotta and Desiree Roffers! \nBalboa is a swing dance that’s characterized by its use of small space and subtle weight changes. This class will cover Balboa basics and Bal-Swing which merges swing movement with Balboa all in one day. This dance is performed in “close embrace” and we will be rotating partners in class. No partner or experience required. Dancers are encouraged to bring slick-soled shoes or socks to dance in. \n10:00am-12:30pm: 2.5 hours of class. \n12:30pm-2:00pm: Lunch break. \n2:00-4:30pm: 2.5 hours of class. \nClass room: Lower Studio \nInstructors: Dylan Devotta (Minneapolis) and Desiree Roffers (Chicago) \nPrice: Pay what you can.
