Swing Dance
Jumptown welcomes social dancers to this weekly event at Café CODA, Madison's home for Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa! Café CODA is Madison’s premier jazz space and the coolest place to be; located at 1224 Williamson St. Café CODA has a selection of tap and bottled beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as soda, lemonade, and other non-alcoholic beverages. A 30 minute beginner-friendly lesson will start promptly at 7:30pm. The event is 18+ friendly. $10 cover is requested, payable by cash or card.

Jumptown Sunday Social & Balboa Bash
Jumptown welcomes social dancers to this monthly event at the Cardinal Bar. For this Sunday afternoon, we'll turn up the tempos to focus on our love of Balboa with plenty of songs great for Lindy Hoppers, too! $10 donation is suggested ($5 for students), payable by cash or card. 1–2pm Balboa Lesson: We’ll explore a new Balboa concept every month. And if you've never done Balboa before? We'll be glad to show you the basics! 2–4pm: Social dancing.

Come join us at MYArts for swing dancing on a beautiful, sprung wood floor. Bring your friends! 7:30-8:00pm Beginner Lesson: We’ll show you 6-count swing basics so you can get on the floor and dance right away. No partner or experience required. 8:00–10:30pm: Social dancing. Dance Venue: Studio 4D Cost: $10, payable by cash or card Shoes: Everyone must bring another pair of clean shoes. Dancers will not be permitted to wear the same shoes that they wore outside. If people forget to bring a clean pair, we’ll ask them to dance in socks.
