Swing Dance: Farewell to the Brink
Jumptown welcomes social dancers to this weekly event at The Brink, Madison's home for Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa! The Brink Lounge has a selection of tap and bottled beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as soda, lemonade, and other non-alcoholic beverages. The Brink Lounge is located about four blocks from the Capitol Square and within walking distance from campus. The event is 18+ friendly. $5 donation is suggested, payable by cash or card. At Jumptown events, masking will be optional by default. However, if the CDC Covid-19 Community Level for Dane County is "High" on the event date, then masks will be required. Proof of vaccination will be required to dance.

Jumptown Balboa Monthly Social
Jumptown welcomes social dancers to this monthly event at Madison Circus Space. $10 donation is suggested ($5 for students), payable by cash or card. 1–2pm Beginner-friendly Lesson: We’ll show you Balboa basics so you can get on the floor and dance right away. No partner or experience required. 2–4pm: Social dancing. Policies: Proof of vaccination will be required to dance. Masking will be optional by default. However, if the CDC Covid-19 Community Level for Dane County is "High" on the event date, then masks will be required.
