Jumptown Monthly Dance
Come join us at Madison Circus Space for swing dancing on a spacious floor. Bring your friends, bring a juggler. $5 donation at the door to pay for venue rental (lesson included). Venue now requires an electronic liability waiver; sign at the registration table or go to MadisonCircusSpace.com and click the link at bottom right. 9–9:30pm Beginner Lesson: We’ll show you 6-count swing basics so you can get on the floor and dance right away. No partner or experience required. 9:30pm–Midnight: Social dancing. Shoes: Everyone must bring another pair of clean shoes. No wearing the same shoes that they wore outside. If people forget to bring a clean pair, we’ll ask them to dance in socks.

Miss Myra and the Moonshiners
Miss Myra and the Moonshiners are a five piece New Orleans jazz group based out of Minneapolis, and Jumptown is bringing them in for our weekly dance! We'll be in the back lounge, offering lessons before the show, and having a great time. Robert Bell Hot Swing Combo!
We're sprucing up our typical Wednesday night social dance with a visit from the Robert Bell Hot Swing combo! The Robert Bell Hot Swing Combo exists for the sole purpose of providing music for dancers. The opportunity to be as expressive, creative and innovative as possible while dancing to a combo of musicians tuned into connection is paramount. Previous performances include- Cowtown Jamborama, DCLX, Hawkeye Swing Festival, Heartland Swing Festival, Twin Cities Balboa Fest, KISS ME, Jumptown Swing, Lindy on the Rocks, Rocktoberfest, Swinger’s Ball, Midwest Lindyfest and of course the birthplace for the group – the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown. Multiple genres including hot club swing, blues shuffles and early swing by artists including Django Reinhardt and Duke Ellington are performed with joy and reverence. A wide range of tempos, fiery solos, and an endless supply of energy, the Hot Swing Combo creates a modern ideal of this great timeless music. The Brink has a nice bar with food and drink available. Join us at the Olin Park Pavilion for swing dancing on a spacious, covered dance floor to usher in the summer. We suggest that you bring a friend because this is going to be a very unique Friday monthly that you won't want to miss.
